- The splendor of the architectural diversity enjoyed by Mamluk architecture is evident in this dome, this cogged shield that crowns the transition area of the dome from the unique in Mamluk domes, and the dome is covered with polygonal lines separated by grooves in the same pattern of polygonal lines, and from the inside the dome adopted the corner curves as a transition area The square part and the circular base of the dome. Inside the archs there are stone motifs in the form of a shell cap. On the inside of the neck of the dome, a verse is engraved
"In the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of night and day are signs for men of understanding who remember Allah standing, sitting and lying on their sides and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth what God created this void Glory guide us the torment of Hell"
In the Mamluk thuluth script, while on the outside, the Ayat al-Kursi is inscribed in the large Mamluk thuluth script under the cogged shield, and the dome is from the building of Amir Tankiz Baga al-Mardani, one of the princes close to Sultan al-Nasir Hasan, who died in 759 AH.
